Hey there! 👋 Staying safe on the internet doesn’t have to be a daunting task, and there a lot of tools and services that can help. This website is a compilation of a few best practices that will elevate your security and greatly reduce your exposure. Don’t worry, you’ve got this!

Let’s get started!

Before we start, I highly recommend making a copy of all your vital data. Having more than one copy will ensure that when a disaster happens you’ll be able to recover quickly without losing your family photos, tax documents, or critical business data.
Check out the Data Backup page for more information.

Once your data is safely backed up, let’s head over to the Passwords page for more information on password hygiene, and tools that manage them for you, so you don’t have to try and remember what feels like a billion of them.
Check out the Passwords page for more information.

After you’re done and now practicing good password hygiene, let’s move onto multi factor authentication. It’s much easier than it sounds, and it’s probably the most effective tool at preventing your data from becoming compromised.
Check out the Multi Factor Authentication page for more information.

Protect your identity and your money! Rich, poor, middle class, doesn’t matter, you have an asset to protect. Protecting your credit and identity (even if it’s not great currently), will help you in your future. Employers, landlords, cell phone companies, even your utility company (electric/gas/etc.) will all check your credit to establish service, so it’s best to keep it as clean as you can and not let some criminal ruin your identity. Also, locking down your credit is a great way to reduce junk mail, and reduce the amount of data companies are selling about you.
Check out the Credit and Privacy pages for more information on securing your identity.
